Debit Cards - Notice 21/06/2019

Due to security reasons, we have to take some measures for our Debit Cards:

  • Any new card orders (physical and digital) are currently deactivated
  • Daily card transaction limit will be set to 250 GBP and cannot be changed

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause! Avoidance of fraud and security risk for our customers is our highest priority. Therefore, we do not see any other alternative.

19/06/2019 - Planned maintenance work: Banking functionalities will be limited.
On Wednesday the 19th of June, between 05:30am and 06:30am, the use of the following services will be limited: account opening, inbound and outgoing transfers, instant transfers to friends and the creation of savings bonds certificates. There will be no limitations when using your Fidor TAP debit Mastercard. Thank you for your understanding and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Transfers made on Thursday, 30th of May, will be processed on Friday, 31st of May

This coming Thursday, the 30th of May, is a public holiday in Germany. Please be aware that all incoming and outgoing transfers will be processed on Friday, 31st. of May! Our customer service team will still be available on Thursday, as usual. So if you have any questions, feel free to contact us by email, through our hotline and/or our community.

25/10/2018 – Planned maintenance work on Banking functionalities will be limited.
On Thursday the 25th of October, between 05:00am and 06:30am. The use of the following services will be limited: inbound and outgoing transfers, instant Transfers to friends, the creation of Savings Bonds.  23/10/2018 – 24/10/2018 - Planned maintenance work on Banking functionalities will be down.

On Tuesday the 23rd and Wednesday the 24th of October, between 7:30pm and 12:30am  our banking services will be temporarily unavailable while we perform essential maintenance work.  You will not be able to make incoming or outgoing transactions using your account or Fidor TAP debit card until after the downtime is finished. Access to the mobile app may also be restricted. Thank you for your understanding and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please contact our community for any queries. 

09/10/2018 We are currently experiencing some technical difficulties with the Fidor TAP Debit MasterCard use        

We are currently experiencing some technical issues regarding your Fidor TAP debit Mastercard. Please get in touch with us immediately if you are affected. We are working to have this issue solved as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and apologies for any inconvenience caused.

26/09/2018  Planned maintenance work – Banking functionalities will be limited.

On Wednesday, the 26th of September between 04.00am and 05.00am the use of the following services will be limited: Inbound and outgoing transfers, Instant Transfers to friends and creation of Savings Bonds. There will be no limitations when using your Fidor TAP debit Mastercard for payments up to £150 within this period. Thank you for your understanding.

13/09/2018 - Technical Issue with some SEPA transfers

We are currently undergoing technical issues with SEPA transfers and hope to have this resolved shortly.

03/09/2018 - Technical Issue successfully resolved

Earlier today, we experienced a technical issue to our banking platform and as a result, some accounts were faced with restrictions. We can confirm the issue has been successfully resolved and accounts should be unlocked. Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

03/09/2018 - Technical Issue 

We are currently experiencing technical issues to our banking platform, as a result you may be unable to log-in to your bank account, access the community, make transactions and use your Fidor TAP debit Mastercard.

03/03/2018-04/03/2018 Planned maintenance work – Banking functionalities will be limited.

On 3rd March and 4th March, between 10:00pm Saturday and 08:00am Sunday GMT, the use of the following services will be limited: Inbound and outgoing transfers, instant transfers to friends, the creation of Savings Bonds. There will be no limitations when using your Fidor TAP debit Mastercard. Thank you for your understanding and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

02/03/2018 Update - Transactions issues have been resolved.

Update: Following from our statement yesterday, we can confirm that we have now fully completed our backlog of ingoing and outgoing transactions of your account.  We would like to apologise for the delay in the processing of  transactions and we thank you for your patience while we worked hard on solving the issue.

28/02/2018 Disruption -  Outgoing transfers may be affected.
