Anyone had a Scottish Widow Capital Protection Fund that has matured? The initial investment buys a number of shares, and there is a charge of 7.81% (this charge is refunded at maturity).
Anyone had a Scottish Widow Capital Protection Fund that has matured? The initial investment buys a number of shares, and there is a charge of 7.81% (this charge is refunded at maturity). So, you get say 100 shares at something like 100p each. At maturity they sent me a statement saying they had sold the 100 shares which now had a value of 137p each. A good return, but i cant get any sense out of them as to why I didn't get a separate cheque/statement which mentions the refund of the initial charge. I am waiting for them to provide a written explanation, but in the meantime I thought I'd sound out you guys. cheers
Virgin Airmiles
You can buy Virgin air miles at £15 for 1000 miles plus a £15 transaction fee. So that's £30 for 1000 miles and £90 for 5000 miles
If you use Tesco clubcard points instead, you can buy 1250 miles for only £5, and if you wanted to spend £30, you'd get 7500 instead of a 1000!
happy flying :-)
